30 weeks

So I can't believe we are already at least 3/4 done with this pregnancy! The time really does go by much faster with the second. This pregnancy has def. been much harder with a 2 year old to take care of, but just as special. I am already feeling stretched to the max, but have a long way to go as far as growing goes. I have put on more weight this time (so far around 15 pounds) but with Avery I only gained a total of 16, so we will see what the final verdict is this time. I have had more complications this time. I have bleed in every trimester, including just last week. Thankfully everything has checked out ok each time. Last week I had an US (due to the bleeding) and found out that she is breech :( She has plenty of time to turn, I just hope I don't go into preterm labor again and have to have a C-section because she didn't turn in time. She was also measuring large at 3 pounds 2 ounces at 29 weeks! That is big, take it from a NICU nurse. It can't be from all of the yummy treats I have been eating, or that it is MUCH harder to exercise, let alone move around this time. Avery is really sweet with the baby. She always wants to kiss baby sissy and talk to her. She is already practicing changing diapers on her baby dolls. We just got a double stroller for our daily walks with the dog. We took her and her friend in it and she seems to like it. I love it because it is easy to fold up and push. It is no heavier than pushing my single even with two 30 pound kids in it! That is about it for now. I have 6 more weeks or work to go and looking forward to having some time off before the baby as long as I don't go into labor at work like last time.

Big Girl Room

So I finally took pictures of Avery's new big girl room. She has done sooooo well, much better than we thought in her new bed and room. What a blessing! She loves playing in her room, which is nice because she didn't really play very much in her old room. She loves having her kitchen in there, and so do I (it helps to contain the toys). Naps were my main concern during this transition, but she has done perfect. She just asks when she goes to sleep, "can you just leave the door open just a wittle bit." Too cute. She is growing up too fast.

Disneyland Feb. 2011

Ready for her big day in her Minnie dress
Her and her friends
I love this one. Big blue eyes
Leaving the castle
Sleeping Beauty's castle (as we were corrected by the two year old) We were calling it the Princess Castle.

Hugs
There's a smiler
I look silly but she is so sweet
It's a small world
On it's a small world, sort of smiling
Meeting Mickey, she was sooo excited.
This was the highlight, a hug from Mickey. She couldn't believe.
Mickey's house
Minnie's house, she loved the pretend oven that baked a cake.

So it was my neice's birthday and their family was taking a three day trip to Disneyland. It got me to think about how we have really been wanting to take Avery too. I know with the baby coming it was going to be hard to get there before she turns three in September. (You don't really want to do to D-land in the summer anyway...too hot and way too many people). So we decided that yest. worked for us. We called my sister-in-law to say we were coming, but they were already having lots of people coming to see them. We decided to invite our neighbors who have season passes, and they wanted to come with us. Wes and I haven't been there in a long time, so it was a big help to have them navigate the rides with us. Avery had a great time with her friends too. We couldn't have picked a better day to go. The weather was perfect, 74 and sunny with a slight breeze, and it wasn't that crowded. The longest we waited for any ride was 20 minutes. Mostly we just walked on. Her favorite rides were: "it's a small world," the jungle cruise, the carousel and the tiki room. She loved Mickey and Minnie's house and meeting Mickey. She was really tired for parts of the day, so we didn't get many smiling picks but she had a great time. We ended up getting the So. Cal two day park pass, since it was only 20 dollars more, so we are going to go either to California Adventure or back to D-land in the next few weeks. It is so fun, but def. exhausting, especially while pregnant.
