6 weeks

So we went for Kinley's six week check up and she is up to 8 pounds 4 ounces! She is now in the 10th percentile for weight and height but still in the 4th for her head. She checks out good. She gained almost two pounds in 4 weeks so I am happy with that. She is starting to get a good sleep pattern at night too. She has been eating around 10 or 1030 and sleeping until 3 or 4 am. Then back to sleep until 715! She is really gassy after the 4 am feeding so she grunts a lot which makes it hard for us to sleep. Avery got over that around 3 months so I am hoping for that. Overall Avery has been doing better, but she still has her moments (today a 45 min. fit about a toy and a cup). I can't believe it has been 6 weeks already, it really does go by faster with the second one. We are looking forward o some smiles soon.

So our friend Nicole took these pics of Kinley at 5 days old. Once again she did a wonderful job. It is so nice to capture her innocence. She is such a sweet & good baby, but has some tummy issues like her sister. She loves to throw-up and grunt all day & night. Last night she slept in the crib because I couldn't take the noise anymore. Avery has had a difficult transition and has been acting out and talking back. I wasn't aware I had a teenager in my house yet, but wow she has some attitude. She loves her sister and never takes it out on her, just me. It is sad really, but I know she is just missing the one on one attention she used to get from me. Hopefully this will teach her to be more independent. Kinley is still waking up every 3 hours at night to eat, so I am still pretty tired. I am hoping that she will sleep a little longer soon. We go for her check-up in 2 weeks and we will see where her weight is.
