She's here and yes over 3 weeks early again! So on Sunday night I went to sleep and woke up after a few hours having cramping and some contractions. I kept trying to go back to sleep and couldn't. At 4 am I decided to get up and time them. They were consistent at 3-5 minutes for 2 hours so I called and they thought I should come in just in case. I waited for Avery to wake up at 7 and then got ready to go. We arrived at the hospital at 8:30. I was sooooo excited to see my favorite nurse (who was also my nurse with Avery). She is just amazing and makes me feel so comfortable with everything. My Dr. was there and checked me saying I was 4 cm but still thick and high. He decided to observe me. An hour and a half later he came back and I was 5-6 cm but still thick and high. At this point the contractions started to get stronger. I decided to wait a bit for the epidural just to be sure things didn't fizzle out. I got my epidural around 12 ish. Thankfully, just in time. My contractions started to get much stronger and closer together. My nurse decided to check me around 215 or so and I was almost complete. The baby was still a bit high though. We decided to wait until I felt pressure to start pushing. Around 3 we did a practice push and my nurse said ok, lets call the Dr. I pushed once more while he was on his way from across the street. It was at that time I felt intense pressure which was sooooo painful (yes, I was screaming). The nurse had to close my legs and wait for the Dr. Once he got there I just stated to push and he had to grab her with his gown. Thankfully that was short and we got to meet our beautiful girl. Such an amazing feeling to have another little baby placed on me after being born. She weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 19 inches. She is doing just wonderful and is a great eater! She has been a much better nurser than Avery ever was. We are all so in love with her. Avery loves her and has been adjusting to life with her sister. For now she is doing well, because Wes is home I think. Besides being tired, we are just enjoying our new little girl so much. What a blessing she is.

Maternity pics
So our good friend took some maternity pics for us. She is sooooo incredibly talented and was so generous to do these for us. There were so many good ones, but too many to post on here. This is just a snapshot of them. I was reluctant to get them done because I am not a "maternity picture" person. I think lots of time they tend to come out cheesy. I like how these were just like family pictures. I am hoping she will do some newborn pics for us too. I had my last day of work last night and of course thought I was going into labor again at work. I had several hours of contractions and finally went to labor and delivery when I had 11 in 40 minutes. They did check me and not much was happening besides the contractions. I chose to finish my shift even though they hurt. They got better once I was distracted by a delivery and very busy babies. I came home and slept and woke up in severe pain and thought it was it, but they have since died down. The nurses in L & D thought I wouldn't go more than a week, but we will see. Ironically, today is the day that I delivered Avery, 36 2/7. We are now at home washing clothes and putting together the bassinet. Looking forward to meeting our new baby girl, but hoping that I can go at least another week.
