Texas/JW Marriott

The family shot

My favorite pic of the trip, so grown up
Crying with daddy

They made balloon animals in the lobby on the day we checked out, she loved it.
Thinking about it
Not sure about the pool
Somethings on my foot
Daddy and Avery poolside
The slide which she wanted to go on until she realized that it had water on it
So unhappy after the slide
The "big" kids eating dinner
Father and daughters
The best shot of all four :)
Cooper and I

My sister Cooper and I
Part of the lazy river
Our room (which was upgraded to this awesome sweet)
We had the largest balcony that we could see and we ate here for a few meals
Our view from the chairs
The grounds

So we went for an early summer visit to San Antonio before it got too hot and Avery turned 2 (free airfare). My brother-in-law works for the JW Marriott Hill Country and got us a REALLY great deal on a room so we decided to take a little family vacation while still visiting family. Unfortunatly Avery got sick while we were there, which made the trip a little less enjoyable. She had a fever for three days and had such a hard time sleeping in the hotel. Also, likely due to her not feeling well, she HATED the pools. Even if we put our foot in one, she began to scream. So we had to take turns enjoying the pool for ourselves. My wonderful husband spent many hours with Avery in the room trying to get her to sleep while I hung out with my sister and the boys. The boys had such a great time and it was great to be able to hang out with my sister as much as I was able to. My dad also joined us for a day by the pool and we hung in the lazy river. Here are just a few of the many pics from the trip. Wes got to spend his birthday golfing at the hotel with my brother-in-law and dad in an awesome PGA course. No pics of course because they are guys. :)

That suite is so nice, and I can't believe that the hotel had its own waterpark! How cool. I'm sorry Avery was sick, poor thing. Cute pictures though, Avery is adorable as ever! :)
